Bling API: what you can do and how to use it with AI agents
Bling is a Brazilian ERP. Its API gives access to records and transactions such as products, stock, orders, tax invoices, contacts and finance. Online stores, integrators and companies that connect marketplaces and systems to Bling use it. The current version requires a registered app and OAuth authorization from the customer's account.
What the Bling API offers
Products
Product records, variations, prices and structures.
Stock
Balances by warehouse and stock movement entries.
Sales orders
Create, look up and change the status of orders, including those coming from connected stores.
Tax invoices
Issue and look up NF-e and NFC-e (Brazilian electronic tax invoices) from orders.
Contacts
Customers, suppliers and carriers.
Accounts payable and receivable
Financial entries, settlements and categories.
Webhooks
Notices of changes to orders, products and stock, so you can react without polling.
How to access the Bling API
- With your company’s credentialsOAuth 2.0: you register an app in Bling's developer area and the company account authorizes the scopes. The access token is renewed with a refresh token.
- The API limits requests per second and per day: large syncs should use webhooks.
- The old key-based API was replaced by v3 with OAuth: older integrations need to migrate.
- Issued invoices have tax effect: keep human approval at that step.

What an iTeam agent does with the Bling API
Order stuck without an invoice
The agent finds orders ready to invoice for more than a day with no NF-e issued and tells the tax team the likely reason, such as an incomplete customer record.
Stockout before it happens
By crossing recent sales with the balance per warehouse, the agent flags products that will run out this week and prepares a purchase suggestion for the buyer to approve.
Order status on WhatsApp
A B2B customer asks about an order. The agent checks status, invoice and carrier in Bling and replies without involving sales.
Collecting overdue receivables
The agent lists overdue receivables, groups them by customer and sends the reminder with a duplicate copy, logging the contact.
From the credential to the agent at work, with approval
Register the app in Bling
In the developer area, create the app with minimum scopes (for example orders and stock) and authorize it with an administrator user.
Store the authorization in the iTeam vault
iTeam renews the token and each agent gets its own permissions: support reads orders, purchasing reads stock, finance reads receivables.
Validate with human approval
Issuing invoices, settling entries and changing stock start with approval and are audited.
