Apollo API: search, enrichment and sequences with AI agents
The Apollo.io API gives access to the platform's B2B database and to your own account data: people and company search, contact enrichment, accounts and sequences. Sales and RevOps teams use it for prospecting and CRM enrichment. Access is through an API key generated in the settings, depending on the plan.

Does the Apollo API send emails?
The API lets you add contacts to sequences configured in the account, and those sequences do the sending. The content and the sending rules stay in Apollo.
