What an iTeam agent does with the Outlook API
Shared inbox triage
The agent reads the emails in the support inbox, sorts them by topic, answers the simple ones and forwards the rest with a summary.
Invoices and bills for finance
The agent identifies emails with invoices and bills, saves the attachments and enters them in the system for checking.
Meeting scheduling
The agent finds free times for the attendees and sends the invitation once the organizer confirms.
Draft replies for approval
For important customers, the agent leaves the reply ready as a draft and tells the person who should review and send it.
From the credential to the agent at work, with approval
Register the app in Entra ID
IT registers the application and grants only the Graph permissions it needs, restricting it to specific mailboxes where possible.
Store it in the iTeam vault
Add the credential and set which mailboxes each agent can read and whether it can send or only create drafts.
Send with approval at first
Start with drafts and human approval, and allow automatic sending only for standard replies.
Ready-made AI teams for this work
WhatsApp customer service
Customers write at 11 p.m. and on Sundays. This team replies in seconds, with your prices and policies, and calls a person when it should.
Help desk support team
It reads each ticket, finds the answer in your docs and past replies, and drafts a response your agents can send or improve.
AI phone receptionist
It answers the phone, books the visit in your calendar and sends your team a short note about every call.
Online store support team
It looks up the real order in Shopify or WooCommerce and answers tracking, return and exchange questions in seconds.
Customer success team
It reads usage, tickets and CRM notes every week and tells your team which accounts need a call, and why.
Customer feedback analysis
It reads every comment, finds the themes behind the scores and tells each area what customers are asking it to fix.
Questions about the Outlook API
Is the Outlook API free?
Microsoft Graph does not charge for common email and calendar calls. What you need is the Microsoft 365 licenses for the accounts involved.
Do I need to write code to use the Outlook API with iTeam?
Not necessarily. Outlook is in the iTeam app catalog, and the deployment team configures mailboxes, folders and rules together with your IT team.
Does it work with a personal Outlook.com account?
Graph also serves personal Microsoft accounts, but business use with iTeam is designed for Microsoft 365 accounts.
